Where ethic meets aesthetic: welcome to Nextethic®

In recent years we have progressively intensified our commitment to contribute to the achievement of the objectives of sustainability, and a 55% reduction in atmospheric emissions, set by the United Nations 2030 Agenda. In doing so, we have also kept faith in the parallel and complementary commitment to support our customers in achieving their sustainability goals.

To achieve these ambitious goals, a priority line of action consists in the use of raw materials from renewable sources, of fabrics from separate waste collections, and in the realization of projects for the reuse of PVC using the latest generation technologies, according to the principles of the circular economy. It is precisely by taking advantage of the experience gradually gained in these areas that we have developed Nextethic®, our new family of natively sustainable products.

Nextethic®:

  • is a new family of bio vinyl coatings, with modular sustainability content, based on the use of fabrics from separate waste collection, and formulations with a high use of raw materials from renewable and biological sources and characterized by low CO2 emissions;

  • can be designed on any automotive specification;

  • has a sustainability content of up to 50%, and guarantees a reduction in CO2 emissions of up to 30% *;

Innovative ecological and sustainable solutions to recycle and reuse synthetic coatings 

Vulcaflex activated a project  to directly reuse scraps to produce new tech materials for vehicle  interiors,  in terms of circular economy:  these will be made of secondary raw materials (SRM) coming from the recycling of production  waste of the polymeric fraction for about 85% by weight. The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
