An excellence among excellences. Thanks to its innovative and productive vocation in manufacturing materials for the automotive sector, Vulcaflex has officially become part of Motor Valley in Emilia-Romagna, the non-profit association that brings together key players in the regional automotive industry. From world leaders such as Ferrari, Ducati, and Lamborghini to other famous automotive suppliers, as well as company museums, circuits, and training centers focused on this sector, in synergy with the regional university.

A network composed by companies on the cutting-edge of innovation united by the goal of enhancing the role of Motor Valley as a leading asset in the economic and territorial promotion of Emilia-Romagna on international markets.

“Our production is 95% dedicated to synthetic materials for car interiors,” explains Vulcaflex CEO and President of Confindustria Romagna, Roberto Bozzi. “Therefore, it is a logical and natural step because we have always worked closely with all stakeholders giving our contibution to the growth of Romagna; a territory that has given us many opportunities, hence prompting us to focus in this region our most significant investments.

“With this prestigious affiliation, which follows our commitment to launch a new Mechatronics degree program in Lugo,” continues Bozzi, “we add an important element to attract talent and skills to Romagna. I would like to thank all past and current employees who have helped us reach this milestone.”

With this step Vulcaflex increases its relationship in a network that includes the main Italian industries in automotive sector, company museums, circuits, and training centers collaborating with the regional universities network. This achievement is made possible thanks to its production plants spread over 41,000 square meters, all located in the Romagna area, where the company generates a turnover of over 160 million euros – over 90% of which is export – being present in this territory since 1965 and counting today 500 employees.
